Unused dishwasher installation
Hi, I have a KitchenAid dishwasher that I used for less than 2 years, and then we moved and took it with us, but because the house was with new appliances I didn't decide to install the one I brought (from Michigan to South Carolina) and it was kept packed and in the garage for 6 years now. I'm debating if I should install it or give away (for parts etc.). I looked underneath and all wiring, pipes, pumps look nice and clean, but because it wasn't used for so long I'm wondering if there could be any buildup or corrosion and if I am not going to just waste time by installing it. Any recommendations? Any easy checks I could do to see if there's no leaks, if heater/pump works?
Asking because it was a really good dishwasher.
